OVERVIEW:
Dance classes are divided into 3 parts: Ballet exercises, Character/Cultural dance, and dance support activities: Music appreciation/ Nutrition for dance/ Contemporary/ Improvisation/ Jazz. Students are trained to be hardworking, disciplined, consistent, and creative. After class, students will have a better understanding of the art, and apply their knowledge and practice of body placement and ballet biomechanics to correct their postures, strengthen the body, and develop their artistry.
GENERAL CLASS CONTENT:

Class structures: barre, port de bras, center practice of barre exercises, adagio, petite allegro, grand allegro, petite batterie, cultural/character dance, and finally dance support activities: Music appreciation/ Nutrition for dance/ Contemporary/ Improvisation/ Jazz.

Ballet exercises are structured with the focus on maintaining good habits and correct execution of the ballet vocabulary, body placement, alignment, strong ankle and foot.

Center practice of barre exercises is designed to focus on the dancers' strength, flexibility, and control of the hip, leg, foot, and spine, preparing for pointe work.

Dance support activities: Music appreciation/ Nutrition for dance/ Contemporary/ Improvisation/ Jazz, aiming at developing appreciation and dancers' artistry."
PERFORMANCE:
Students perform a ballet variation/ a ballet choreography at the PAS Festival.
