OVERVIEW
Dance classes are divided into 3 parts: Ballet exercises, Creative movement in the form of story-telling, interactive games, roleplay, and dance support activities: music appreciation/ nutrition for dance/ or cultural appreciation via contemporary and character dance from other countries around the world. Students are trained to be hardworking, disciplined, consistent, creative, and acceptant; hopefully they can practice these traits and values as a part of themselves until they grow up.
GENERAL CLASS CONTENT

Students start every class with a warm-up routine, barre exercises, across-the-floor exercises using roleplay/storytelling, choreography using creative movement, and finally dance support activities.

Ballet exercises are taught with the focus on building good habits, execution of ballet vocabulary, correct body placement, alignment, and developing classical lines and forms.

Creative movement: Activities including roleplay, embodiment, teamwork, and games with the focus on creativity and improvisation.

Dance support activities: Music appreciation sessions, nutrition for dancers, contemporary, and character dance.
PERFORMANCE
Students are able to perform a ballet variation/ a short storytelling act using ballet techniques/ a ballet choreography at the PAS Festival.
