9 years and 6 tours later, Rec returns to its’ DIY roots with a rehearsal / recording room adjacent to the well-known community-driven ATH theatre.
We’ll celebrate with some performances in the ATH ‘black box’ space from some old and new friends, showcasing what we love to support - original, interesting, unique sounds.
Including live sets from:
Puddles - crafting quirky, energetic pop songs that float through odd time signatures naturally, this ensemble continues to evolve and grow, catching your ear with a thoughtful lyric and getting you moving with driving rhythms and finely orchestrated arrangements.
Corrupted Moonlight - Hanoi’s premier synthwave band, is known for its retro-futuristic style. Influenced by 1980s sci-fi movie soundtracks and video games, their tracks are filled with throbbing, fuzzy synths and heavy, house-influenced drums.
Loopernatural - experienced beatboxers Flow.D & TuanSS create a broad range of genres - from hip-hop to jazz, house to drum n bass, techno to trance… they’ll take you on a sonic journey of hard-hitting and vibrant sounds created with only their mouths and a loop station.
