Overview

A performance is not created by actors alone. Space, light, sound, objects, and technical effects all contribute to the way an audience sees, feels, and understands what happens on stage.

This practical workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of scenography and stage technique, exploring how technical tools can become part of the artistic language of a production. Participants discover the basic principles of stage space, lighting, sound, visual composition, and technical organization while experimenting directly with the resources available.

The objective is not simply to learn how equipment works, but to understand how technical choices can support an artistic intention and help tell a story.

Why This Workshop?

Understanding the basic rules of the stage gives artists greater creative freedom. Knowing how to use space, compose an image, direct the audience's attention, or create an atmosphere through light and sound makes it easier to transform an artistic idea into something concrete.

This workshop gives participants an accessible introduction to the relationship between artistic vision and technical realization, encouraging them to see stage technology as a creative tool rather than simply a technical necessity.
