Overview

Making a film means bringing together an idea, a team, technical equipment, and a creative vision. From preparing a shoot to directing a scene and managing a crew, filmmaking requires both artistic choices and practical organization.

This workshop introduces participants to the essential stages of film production through hands-on experimentation. They discover how a film project is prepared, how a crew works together, and how camera, sound, lighting, directing, and production interact during a shoot.

The objective is not simply to learn how to operate a camera, but to understand how all the different elements of filmmaking come together to transform an idea into images.

Why This Workshop?

Today, almost anyone can access the tools needed to make a film, but having equipment is only the beginning. Successful filmmaking requires preparation, teamwork, technical understanding, and the ability to make creative decisions within real-world constraints.

Understanding the basic structure of a film production gives participants the confidence and practical tools to organize their own projects, collaborate more effectively, and make stronger artistic choices.
