1. OVERVIEW

This theatre ensemble welcomes adults of all experience levels who wish to explore acting through a long-term creative process. More than a class, it is a collaborative artistic journey where participants train, experiment, and create together over the course of the season.

Each year, the ensemble explores a specific acting methodology inspired by a major theatre practitioner, allowing participants to deepen their artistic practice while discovering new ways of approaching the body, voice, emotions, character, and stage presence.

At the beginning of the season, several artistic projects or plays are proposed. Together with the director, the ensemble selects the production that best matches the group's interests, ambitions, and dynamics. Weekly rehearsals then progressively transform this shared choice into a complete theatrical production.

2. OBJECTIVES

Throughout the season, participants develop their acting technique through improvisation, scene work, voice, movement, text analysis, and character creation. The focus is placed on artistic exploration, ensemble work, and the development of authentic stage presence rather than simply learning lines.

By working within a theatre ensemble, participants strengthen their creativity, confidence, adaptability, listening skills, and ability to collaborate throughout a professional-style rehearsal process. Each season also provides an in-depth exploration of a specific acting methodology, enabling participants to enrich

The season culminates in a full-length theatrical production of approximately 60 to 120 minutes, presented as part of the P.A.S. Festival. From selecting the project to the final performance, participants are actively involved in the entire creative process, experiencing the collaborative journey of bringing a production to life.

3. DISCIPLINE SUMMARY

Theatre as an Exploration of the Self and the World

Practicing theatre means facing personal challenges: launching oneself on stage, managing stage fright, following instincts, and collaborating with others. Theatre encourages creativity, expression, teamwork, and understanding oneself and others.

Classes combine theoretical and practical work based on aesthetic currents and methods from masters worldwide. Emphasis is placed on body awareness, imagination, and collective creation.
